Is apartment rental a common accommodation for tourists in Odessa Ukraine?

Yes, it is very common way of accommodation for foreign visitors for several reasons.  Apartments are less expensive than staying in hotels, they offer more privacy and space.  They are equipped with full kitchens which allows you to eat-in instead of going out all the time.  Also, there are no limitations as for how many people can stay in the apartment (within the reason).

 

 

Are these apartments safe and secure?

 

Yes, during five years in business our clients never had a problem with security and safety.  All the apartments have locked doors on them, as well as most hallways in Odessa have locked doors with a key or combination code.

 

 

What if the apartment I have reserved is already booked?

 

We do try to keep our database of the apartment current and you can see the dates that are not available highlighted with pink color.  But these things can change pretty quickly and if the apartment is not available we will accommodate you in the same or better quality apartment.

 

 

How can I reserve an apartment?

 

In order for the apartment to be reserved it needs to be fully paid.  Partial reservation payments are also available but need to be discussed with us via e-mail or phone.  However, full payment must be transferred in order to be checked-in to the apartment.

 

 

What payment means are available?

 

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover), electronic payments from PayPal account holders and all easily convertible in Ukraine currencies (US Dollars, Euros, British Pounds) and local Ukrainian currency - Hryvna.  Credit card payment can be made electronically (through our website), by phone or e-mail.  We can also accept Western Union transfers, in this case contact us to receive transfer details.

 

 

Are there any hidden costs aside from the prices listed on the site?

 

No, the prices on our website are final and you don't have to pay separately rental commissions, any kinds of taxes, utilities, etc.

 

 

Are there any discounts available for clients?

 

Discounts are sometimes available to our frequent customers and are subject to season, length of stay and some other circumstances.   We also recommend to view our Special Offers! section.

 

 

What is the minimum stay in the apartment?

 

The minimum stay is 7 nights.

 

 

Can you provide an airport / train station pick-up?

 

Yes.  We provide pick-up for $39 as long as you arrive after 10 am and before 8 pm.  Pick-up before 10 am and after 8 pm is available for $49 and you can request it during the reservation process.  As well as VIP airport pick-up ($129 per person).  If you don't use our pick-up service but desire to check-in after 8 pm the fee is $20 (since we need to have one of our staff members to be available to check you in or pass the key.

 

 

What if I miss my plane / train or it gets delayed?

 

If you know at least an hour before your scheduled arrival time that you will be delayed, please inform us by phone and we will pick you up at next scheduled time without extra charge.  If you are not able to inform us of delay in case of extra waiting time being spent by our staff member we will charge you $20/hour after 30 min which are included.  If you are not able to inform us about not showing up at the scheduled time / day at least one hour in advance and still would like to be picked up at another time / day you will be charged for additional pick up based on the rates listed in above question.

As far as rental goes, if you do not arrive on the scheduled day this day rental price will NOT be refunded or used as a credit towards another rental day.

 

 

How do I check-in to my apartment if I don’t need an airport / train station pick-up?

 

As far We have centrally located office which means that you can just come to our office and one of our staff memebers will take you to your apartment.  No extra charge required if you show up before 8 pm.

 

 

What is check-in / check-out time?

 

Check-in time is 2 pm.  Check-out time is 12 pm.  If you wish to check-in before 2 pm let us know in advance and we will try to meet your needs if rental schedule of apartment allows.  If you need to check-out after 12 pm it is possible for additional fee (usually half-a-day rent).  If you check-out by 12 pm but your plane / train is later in the day you can leave your luggage in our office for as long as you want but not later than 8 pm.

 

 

How do I check-out of my apartment?

 

Our representative will come to your apartment at scheduled hour and will check the apartment (in case of any damage by client, client must pay the cost of the damage) and will take the key from you.  In case of storing luggage in our office after check-out and in some other cases the client may be allowed to check-out on his own and to bring the key with him.

 

 

How do I get to the airport / train station when I check-out?

 

You can request us to call you a taxi service to get to the airport / train station.  The taxi will come to your apartment or to our office (as agreed) and you will pay the price to the taxi driver directly.  We will inform you of the price before you get in the taxi.  Normally the price is $5-7 in Hryvnas equivalent.  No payment is required by us for this service.

 

 

What if my departure is early in the morning or late at night?

 

Let us know in advance and we will arrange you check-out and transportation.

 

 

What is your cancellation policy?

 

If apartment is cancelled with less than 5 days notice before check-in date, then penalty is 3 nights and a 7% service fee for account processing - remaining balance is refunded.

If apartment is cancelled between 5 and 14 days before check-in date, then penalty is 2 nights and a 7% service fee for account processing - remaining balance is refunded.

If apartment is cancelled longer than 14 days before check-in date, then penalty is 1 night and a 7% service fee for account processing - remaining balance is refunded.

The transaction fee of 7% of the order total is to offset the credit card processing fee. The cancellation fee is because we actually reserve the exact unit that the client requests.

Note, we do not guarantee the unit till the apartment is paid in full.

Until the payment is received, the apartment may be reserved by another.

 

 

What if I need to change my reservation dates?

 

If you give us a notice at least 20 days in advance and your apartment rental schedule allows your dates to be moved, your reservation can be moved without any penalty.  If you give less than 20 days notice or the original apartment does not allow your dates to be moved due to schedule conflict (in which case we will have to propose another apartment for you) the penalty is one night fee.

 

 

Can I extend my stay in the apartment?

 

Yes, but it is subject to apartment's availability.  However, if your apartment is not available to be rented longer than original reservation due to schedule conflict we will find you a suitable option.

 

 

Can I get the address and the phone number of the apartment?

 

After reservation payment is complete you can request you address and we will provide it for you.  However, we do NOT provide an apartment phone number in order for current tenants not to be bothered by phone calls from other people who you may give your phone number in advance.  For clients who need to have their contact number before the arrival we offer a Mobile phone rent in which case they are able to obtain their phone number before the arrival.

 

 

Can you provide an Invitation letter or Reservation voucher if I need it for visa purposes?

 

Yes, we can provide such documents  for our clients by request but not before the reservation is made.

 

 

What services are included with apartment rental?

 

Apartment rental price includes cleaning and fresh sheet and towels before check-in, cleaning and sheets/towels change every five days, all local out coming and in coming phone calls, utilities and Internet access in apartments marked by the special sign "Free high-speed Internet".

 

 

Can I make long distance or International phone calls from my apartment phone?

 

No, apartments' phones do NOT have such feature as well as calls to Ukrainian mobile numbers though you are able to receive long distance, International calls or calls from mobiles.  For those apartment rental clients who need to make such calls we offer this service in our office at 10% discount.  We also provide a Mobile phone rental service.

 

 

What additional services can your company provide for me?

 

We are full service well established company with large office in the very city center and we are open 7 days per week and have English speaking staff.  You can read about our basic services here.  If you have some special requests or needs let us know and we will make sure to take care of them.

 

 

What do I do if something breaks or does not work properly in the apartment?

 

Let us know of any problems immediately and we will make sure any problems get fixed in the shortest time.  In case of any long lasting problems or inconveniences that are not compatible with normal living we will move you to the same or better quality apartment.

 

 

If I am already in Odessa can I rent an apartment from your company without prior reservation?

 

Yes, if you are in Odessa and have no place to stay you are welcome to visit our office and we will find you and apartment that will meet your needs.  However, we always recommend to reserve in advance if possible (especially in high-season) in which case you will put up with no or minimal amount of inconveniences.

Note: If client comes to our office and needs the apartment for the same day in case of credit card payment we charge 3% transaction fee.

 

 

Can I move to another apartment if I decide that I don’t like the one where I’m staying?

 

No, this can not be done.  The only case when client may request another apartment is if apartment has defects that are not compatible with normal living.  We take all apartment photos ourselves and GUARANTEE that the apartment looks exactly the same way as on the photos.

 

 

Who do I contact in case if I need some help or have any questions during my stay in Odessa?

 

You can call our office (we make sure every client receives our business card) and our English speaking staff will answer all your questions and will do their best to help you to solve any problems that you may have.
